A great new system for the wiki
Seriously, I am going to implement following system:
You earn EXPERIENCE on the wiki by adding/editing items. Based on EXPERIENCE you can gain levels. Only during purging (committing the data) you will gain experience. So basically when the data is approved by me or a moderator or administrator. If you approve your own contribution, you receive NO EXPERIENCE. Therefore I need at least one moderator.
By looking at someone's level you can see what his input in the wiki is. The higher your level, the more chance of becoming a moderator. (this is not done automatically however).
I think this is nice
And it lets users actively join it and keep it up to date, dontcha think?

It *could* be a good idea, but will the wiki really get enough use to merit it?

Are you creating your own wiki? If so why not take an already implemented one and modify it or is this just a learning process for you?

I want my own system, not to complicated/heavy. Quick processing. an own small not complicated database... And I am always learning things. I decided that I learn the most by creating it myself. :0
